I LOST 11lbs. IN 2 WEEKS!

I started Debbie Bertie’s “Tighten it Up” Program two weeks ago.

Cardio, 10 minutes of light weights every other day and some ab exercises have always been my fitness regime. I did this 4-5X a week for years and I felt I was in great shape!  But recently I noticed I couldn’t do a push up- even on my knees- and realized I didn’t have the upper body strength that I should have or want to have. I was maintaining my weight, but not tightening or toning the areas that I’ve wanted to for years.

The “Tighten it Up” program’s exercises are not difficult to learn or perform and the ‘How to Guide’ is perfectly laid out with Debbie modeling them along with a detailed ‘how to’ for each exercise. They are also in alphabetical order for an easy find.  The program includes a ‘Workout Plan’ which outlines the exercises for the day and by the week as you progress into the program so there is no need to try to make a routine for yourself. It is also a workout that you can do even when you are away from home.

I will be starting Week 3 of the program and I am loving the exercises. I actually look forward to my workouts again and seem to have more energy.  The afternoon “feel like taking a nap” hasn’t happened since starting the program.

After only two weeks I am now now able to do the 3X 10 reps of push ups!  It is still challenging but my goal is to perform those push ups off my knees 😉 My upper body is  getting stronger after only 14 days. That excites me because I know the program is working. Not only that but my FitBit shows that I am burning the same amount of calories with the “Tighten it Up” Workout Plan that I was burning from my cardio workout. I am working up more of a sweat and feel energized when I’m done.

I am not following the ‘Meal Plan’ as I feel I already eat pretty healthy.  I have incorporated some of the suggested foods for hormone balance though. The meal plan that is included is definitely one that won’t leave you feeling deprived and offers a number of choices for each meal and snack. I like the fact that it is included should I decide to start it.

Debbie is an inspiring woman who is motivating and also encourages and educates.  She checks in to see how the program is coming along and with her knowledge she has been able to answer any and all questions I have (and promptly 🙂 I never feel I am a bother and she is always more than willing to help or support.

I highly recommend the program for any fitness level or age. My only regret is that I didn’t find Debbie or the program sooner. 😉

I LOST 8lbs. IN 2 WEEKS!

After having surgery on my neck a couple of years ago I have let myself get out of shape.  
I was in need of a workout program with structure and nutritional guidance.  The Tighten Up program was perfect for me.  

After committing to the program I have lost 8 pounds.  

I have gained strength in all areas, especially my abs, legs, glutes and hamstrings. My upper body I am still working on I have a lot of weakness in my arms and shoulders due to nerve damage, but the program is helping me everyday get my strength back in my upper body.
